Where Marvellous laments the lack of faxes and Love feels miffed.

(Handwritten) Dear Love,

I thought I will read your fax this morning but nothing was seen. I will like to hear from you how far you have gone.

Expecting your response.

Yours Marvellous.

The power's been off here. A 41íC day followed by fierce thunderstorms.

Well, Marvellous...

You said you wanted my bank account. You said you wanted my body.

But you give me nothing but scappy little notes that say nothing.

The literary equivalent of "Shut up woman and do what you're told". (Whack!).

Not very marvellous at all.

I didn't go to Western Union this morning. Last night I lay awake a long time, sad at your lack of emotion and caring for me. I thought a lot. I cried a lot. I decided I would wait one day and see whether you would send me anything caring this evening.

"Does he really care?" I wondered.

So what did I get?

"Dear Love, I thought I will read your fax this morning but nothing was seen. I will like to hear from you how far you have gone. Expecting your response. Yours marvellous."

Isn't that romantic!

Tell me Marvellous...if you were me, would you like to get that fax?

R.
