Willy notifies Mrs Chile that he has been contacted by the lawyer:

My Dear Mrs Chile,

I am writing with excellent news!

That barrister chap, Longeh Kudu, has contacted me as will be forwarding the appropriate papers. He sounds a reasonable sort of chap, as far as these lawyers go. Is he totally trustworthy?

I trust you are well and that your son is enjoying success in his studies.

Is there a man in your life nowadays? This is perhaps an indelicate question but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Another question that you may find a bit odd from a gentleman of my stature is one to do with cooking. But I do pride myself with being a mean hand at the culinary arts and would welcome a recipe from you. Something special that I can cook and say 'This is from Mrs Chile"!

Remember, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, or so they say.
