Five days after I email him Charles replies with "Thanks for your speedy response." Ha! Attached to his email is a brilliantly crafted document that I must send to the bank. I am a bit bemused that he is actually going to send me off to the Nigerian High Commission to get a visa. Is there someone there on the NNPC payroll? I will see what the fax machine brings tomorrow morning.

Hello Cosmo,

Thanks for your speedy response. As I told you in my last mail that we are going to send you an invitation letter by fax, you will take this letter to the Nigeria high commission. Please notify us on the exact date you're going to present this letter so we can call the Embassy ahead of time to notify them of your coming so that there will be no hiccups. Regarding the contact number of the bank I'll advise that you'll use the number on the fax received from the bank.

Regards,

Charles.
