Just why do I need this lawyer, Charles?

Dear Charles,

Thank you for your email.

I must confess that I do not understand it.

As I view it, I have been approved as a legitimate supplier of the services and payment has been approved to me and my company by the CBN.

The work is done. The bill is presented. They have an obligation to settle their debts. What right do they have to 'grill' me or my representative when they are the ones carrying the obligation to pay? They cannot back out now, after we have done the work for them.

What sort of questions can they ask of me that a lawyer could answer any better? For that matter what sort of questions will they ask?

I think they are all bluff, Charles.

Tell them if they don't settle their debts we will take them to the Supreme Court.

They are being very aggressive when they really only hold the moral low ground, don't you think?

Yours puzzled,

Cosmo.
