Where I argue the case to Charles against the lawyer...

My Dear Charles,

How the lawyer is carrying out his duties is exactly the issue.

The guy is incompetent. Or very corrupt. I don't know which is worst. We are dealing with a serious issue here, lots of money is involved. Peoples future security and happiness in fundamentally on the line and this wacko of a lawyer tells me what I already knew, and tells me that he is due over thirty six thousand dollars, and remember Charles, we are not talking Mickey Mouse dollars here, these are United States dollars, serious money, and he tells me what I already knew before he came on the scene and all he is going to do is stand in for me at some handing over of the funds.

God Charles, if I was there I would be acceptable, no questions asked. How difficult is it for this guy to front on my behalf. It must amount to half an hour's work. All for over thirty six thousand United States dollars?

This guy has tickets on himself.

He is a con man Charles, he is taking a lend of you and going to rob you blind. That is why I spoke to him in the manner I did. Because he is an evil man, a sulphurous agent of the very devil, Satan, himself.

Be very careful of him Charles.

We must find another way to bring this transaction to its much desired completion.

Yours sincerely,

J. Cosmo Newbery.
