Barrister Eke returns with the following email later the same night. At the same time an email is sent to Henry asking why he hasn't responded to the Power of Attorney that John Silver mentioned by accident.

Oddly, the letters from Barrister Eke have '1968' on both the John Silver and Henry Witherspoon letters. So much for the theory that that was a way to separate different correspondences.

DEAR JOHN SILVER,

SORRY FOR REPLYING LATE.AS A LAWYER I HAVE SOME CASES THAT NEED TO BE ATTENDED TO THAT IS WHY I COULD NOT GET BACK TO YOU SOON.

I GOT THE POWER OF ATTORNEY YOU SENT AND I HAVE FORWARDED IT TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE FOR IT TO BE REGISTERED,NOTARISED AND ENDOSED TO MAKE IT HAVE A LEGAL STATUS.

I WILL SEND THE REGISTERED COPY TO YOU SO THAT YOU WILL HAVE ONE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BE NEEDING IT.

THANKS

REGARDS

BARR.FRANKLIN EKE
1968
