Henry has a bad day:

Dear Reverend Clarke,

I am so terribly sorry. It had been a bad day.

I have just arisen after a little sleep and reread my email. I do not know what came over me. My brain just seems to short circuit sometimes and all sorts of words jumble out. They seem to make sense at the time.

I do hope I have not confused you too much,

Yours sincerely,

Henry.

The Reverend Clarke is encouraging:
