The mail is not all that is not arriving. I send an email to Mr Johnson and then resent it to the security firm after they sent me a new address.

(Minus 6 in Amsterdam).

Dear Sirs,

Below is the text of a message I sent to Mr Johnson earlier today on behalf of my client, Mr Hu Flung Dung. I sent it to Mr Johnson and only recently learned of your existence when Mr Hu asked me to check his email. It is perhaps more appropriate that it had gone to you. My apologies.

I have every hope and expectation that Mr Hu will be released from custody tonight.

Yours sincerely,

J Cosmo Newbery,

Dear Mr Johnson,

I am Mr Hu's legal representative. Mr Hu was detained in unfortunate circumstances at Tullamarine Airport yesterday and had to endure a most undignified media circus. The upshot of it all was that he was detained in custody overnight.

Mr Hu asked me to contact you to let you know that he is safe and well. We expect him to be granted bail in a special sitting this evening and, if we are lucky in which magistrate we get, we should attain judicial assent for him to travel in a couple of days.

Mr Hu asked me to apologise to you for any inconvenience cause and to tell you that he will contact you personally as soon as he is home.

I have attached a small newspaper article to this email. It is one of the less sensationalist ones that have filled the gutter press since his arrest.

Yours most sincerely,

J Cosmo Newbery,
Senior Partner,
Newbery & Associates.
