Dr Blore is not too thrilled with the idea of a factory visit (wriggle, sqirm, wriggle):
Attn: Mr.J. Cosmo Newbery,
This is to acknowledge the reciept of your mails and it is imperative to inform you that visits to the company is always authorised by the management board and at the moment, we are indisposed to your arrangement. (So?)
As earlier informed, an appropriate and formal invitation will be extended to you immediately after the successful testing before the confirmation of the main order thereby providing an adequate opportunity for discussions.
Meanwhile, we still expect your response.
Dr. Robert Blore.
Dear Dr Blore,
I have received your email but am saddened by its contents.
It has throw a large spanner in the works and put my travel arrangements into disarray.
Are you sure there are no exceptions to this policy?
It is most unusual not to permit a customer to inspect production facilities.
Please advise me as to what I should do.
J. Cosmo Newbery.
